What's on
Worship
We meet for worship every Sunday at Hubberston and Hakin Community Centre, Church Road, Hubberston, Milford Haven, SA73 3PL. Our times of worship are :
11.15 am - weekly - Our morning times together have a very relaxed feel to them. We seek to make them appropriate for children and families, whilst welcoming people of all ages. Our current monthly pattern is :
1st Sunday - Chill and Chat, including craft activities for the children.
2nd Sunday - Family Service, followed by a Bring-and-Share lunch.
3rd Sunday - Any Questions - looking together at questions people ask about life and faith.
4th Sunday - Cafe Church - interactive worship, including time to chat.
5th Sundays will be flexible in terms of what we do each time.
6 pm weekly - Our evening times include lively worship (usually with a small worship band), Bible-based teaching and prayer, and sometimes include Communion. We offer prayer for healing and seek to be open to the gifts and presence of the Holy Spirit. There are refreshments afterwards, often with plenty of cake.

Outreach
Little Fishes
We run a popular midweek parents and toddlers group called Little Fishes. We love getting to know families and to serve the community in this way, and pray that small seeds sown with love will bear fruit in people’s lives.
Healing on the Streets
We regularly go out onto the streets of our community with a red sailflag, which says on it “Healing Prayer”. We chat to people, hand out leaflets explaining what we are doing and pray for those who would like this. As opportunities arise we also give out gospels and share the good news of Jesus. It’s great to make connections and share God’s love with people in this way.
Alpha Courses
We are planning to run a Youth Alpha and an adult Alpha Course in the near future. This is an excellent course, which provides a clear introduction to the Christian faith. It’s suitable for people who have questions, or want to discover more about being a Christian, and also those who would like to see their faith strengthened and renewed. To find out more about Alpha, here’s the link : https://alpha.org.uk
We also plan to run other courses in the future to encourage people in their faith and life.

Giving and Supporting Mission

As a church we have decided to give away a tenth of our income to support organisations that spead the gospel, or show God's love in action, either in the UK, or abroad. So far we have supported :
Tearfund, Ukraine Christian Ministries, Pansi Parish in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Good News for Everyone (formerly The Gideons), New Wine Cymru, Lifewords, PATCH (Pembrokeshire Action to combat hardship) and a project working with the homeless, run by another local church. We are open to ideas and suggestions from church members about other groups it might be right for us to support.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
